Thanks to each of you who participated. Several independent estimates figured the crowd at 5 to 6,000. It was a beautiful evening. As you may know we delivered almost 200 children’s Bibles and about 60 adult New Testaments to our guests. Judy Hinson presented the Bible offer to our guests and shared the following: “I just wanted to add to your announcement from yesterday some of the remarks I heard. They were all made in wonder and awe. ‘Are these really for us?’ ‘This is a real Bible, not just stories!’ ‘Can I please have one for my grandchildren?’ ‘Thank you, thank you! I can’t believe y’all are handing out real Bibles. Thank you.’ There were many more I can’t remember. Of all I asked, less than a handful said no. Beside the absolute thrill of being given a Bible, I saw a hunger in the faces and attitudes.” I think Judy said it all.
