HDP – Holistic Development Profile

It is a comprehensive report card given out at the end of the academic year.

It consists of :1. Academic results for the year.2. FormTeacher’s comments3. PFT/NAPFA Data4. CCA records/achievements5. CDP module 6. CIP module

Why the HDP?

It serves to track the students development over the 4/5 years in Evergreen.

Parents have a comprehensive summary of the holistic development of the child.

Systematic / annual data capture that ensures students maximise their LEAPS points.

Important barometer to track the overall Character Development Plan of the school.

4 broad areas, requiring a minimum of 4 sentences.

Based on C2015 outcomes and school values.

LEAPS – What is this?

A comprehensive tracking system used to measure the holistic development of the child.

Tracks the contribution of the child to school, community and country in some cases.

The HDP will only work if LEAPS DATA is captured in Cockpit system.

LEAPS – Significance

> 25 points - A1 2 bonus 20 – 24 points – A2 points 16 – 19 points – B3 1 bonus point Bonus points used to offset 0 level

points. Bonus points accumulated over 4/5

years

L – Leadership ( CCA module)

Students who take on leadership roles such as Prefects, Class comm and CCA leaders. E.g. Captain, Vice – president , Unit CSM.

When pupil leaders organise events, these have to be keyed in under leadership.

Max of 12 accumulated points over 4/5 years.

A- Achievement (CCA module)

Max of 15 points over 4/5 years. Sub categorized into Representation,

Attainment, Accomplishment. Representation: Inter-school

competition/representation. ( Non-winner) Attainment : Non- competitive awards like

NYAA, Mostly for Uniformed Groups Accomplishment: Inter-school competition.

( Winners only ) e.g. SYF, Inter-school Rugby

P- Participation (CCA module)

Max of 10 points over 4/5 years. Tracks attendance of main CCA Intra- school CCA activities National Day Parade Inter- class games, Inter- house

games. YOG opening ceremony.

Other involvement – CCA module

For activities that cannot be classified under any category.

No CCA points will be awarded, but it serves as a formal CCA record.

Must check and key in required CIP hours. CCA teachers must decide on events. 1. Route marshal during cross country. 2. YOG medic duty. 3. Revolver shooting practice session.

Take note when keying in “ Other involvement.” : Event must be first created in cockpit.

Purely to capture learning, training and development of students.

3 fixed categories given by MOE:

1. Enterprise

2. Citizenship

3. Personal and Social lifeskills.

What to key into CDP?

Any activity that promotes the learning of A.S.K.( attitudes, skills and knowledge)

Check activity against the 3 categories found in CDP module – citizenship, enterprise, personal/social life skills.

If you cannot key in the activity under any of the 3 categories, key in the activity under your CCA . ( Other involvement category and select the respective SDP domain)

Points awarded to students who engage in service to the community.

Max of 5 points over 4/5 years for > than 100 hours of service.

Service should be organised via school based programme. E.g Service Learning Programme, School CIP.

Easiest 5 points for students to accumulate. Some items like Service Learning and

Charity Bazzar will also appear under CDP module. This is normal and accepted.
