New Century Technology High School is Huntsville City's only full magnet high school. Students are provided with a STEM-focused curriculum offering advanced students and industry experience in the fields of computer science, engineering, and biomedical science. Unique program components include opportunities for involvement with current business projects through internships, mentoring, and project-based learning as well as unique courses in each strand. Business partners and industry experts collaborate with students to prepare them for careers in the STEM field. New Century students are application-based and require a grade average in core classes of 80%.
