SECRETARY/TREASURER’S NOTE
As the summer comes to an end, a new show season begins. Along with the new show season
we have a new club secretary, Janet Ritchie. As members, please bear with us through this transi-
tion as we attempt to make it clean and quick. Let’s thank Sonja Papakee for her hard work over
the last year. If you are thinking about a fall convention trip to Texas, consider car pooling with
your fellow members to help defer cost. It should prove to be an excellent trip. Watch the Hawk-
eye News for final sweepstakes points, upcoming show bills, and further information on the state
convention. Make sure you check out the changes to the website that Becky Stock has made and
also check out our Facebook page for further information. If you have specific questions on the
state convention show site, contact Sally Randall as our show chairperson. As always, if you have
any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at any time either on my cell phone, email, or
through Facebook. Good Luck in the upcoming show season!
