Going up the steps to the badminton court and then following the trail to the Chinese shrine. It had rained on the Wednesday but by Thursday morning the ground was fairly dry thank goodness. On passing through the shrine we kept on the trail towards the farms. It was very quiet as no one was around with just our breathing to be heard. We followed the trail further on until we took a left and climbed up the concrete road leading to one of the farm houses. Behind the house we climbed up again into the bush and eventually made it out to the Bkt Gambir - Tembaga ridge on top. So far so

The run setters, Botak Chin, No Choice and myself set out to with a view to do a short run. Going up the steps to the badminton court and then following the trail to the Chinese shrine. good! But it was all downhill from there!!At this point we felt that the run was going to be too short if we went straight down the path to the runsite. So instead we crossed the path and made our way down the hill the other side, then looped around to climb back up to the ridge only to find that we came back to our own paper as somehow we had done a com-plete circle!! Backtracking somewhat we made a new path to come out further down the track with no view of the original paper. We then proceed to go down the path but once again I made a mistake and turned right going down and got hopelessly lost. Down and down we went lost, confused and wondering why are “We not there yet?” We hit upon another Chapter’s paper and followed it through a maze of ups and downs, my fellow run setters being extremely patient whilst I tried to unlose myself. There was a glimmer of hope when we came to a path and following it we exited on to the On In paper. By this time we had lost quite a bit of time and decided to leave the trail as it was and headed back to the runsite.
In the evening the smallish crowd had 3 mainland guests from Seberang Prai H4 promoting their 17th anniversary run in November, as well as our usual guests Jasmine and Alvin plus Itchi Bai, Moira and Jenny.Molly had brought so much of snacks, cake, Kuih to feast on that it was like a festival. Instructions given, the pack went off and we then anxiously waited for their return.The first back was Jackpot in an hour 15 mins and the others dribbled in over the next hour. It was apparent to many how lost we were whilst setting by the com-ments they made. Nevertheless they did enjoy the run which is the main thing! The last hashers came back glad to be out whilst Pukka Sahib as usual did it his way!After the food, drinks drunk thirstily, we had the circle.

Announcements On Sec1. When a bunny/hare invite guests for the run, then the bunny/hare has a choice to either pay guest fees for them or during the circle when the guests are being introduced to buy the circle beers for them. 2. The outstation run to Ipoh is postponed to a later date.

Circle1. Our 3 mainland guests kicked off the icings first being welcomed by the GM and then advertising their 17th Anniversary run on November 17. They also presented us with a crate of beer which we thank them for.2. The GM then turned to another late arrival guest, Jenny who comes from Langkawi.
3. Guest Moira was next on the ice. No matter which Chapter she runs with she is very distinctive as she dresses in Pink shirt black legging and with plaited hair. The GM promised to give her a Harriets’ T-shirt the next time she comes!!
4. Suddakar was on the ice next. It was a rare occasion that he was even at the circle since he normally disappears rather quickly after a run. However today the GM asked him to stay back so that she could introduce him and to quiz him a little as he has no hash name. The minds weren’t working on the night (too much beer) and so we left naming him until another time!

5. A charge from the floor by Botak Chin saw the GM on ice. Her crime was be-ing chief hare and getting herself and her co-hares lost whilst on the way down, not once but THREE times making it a tougher run than was desired!!6. A second charge this time by the GM saw their places reversed with Botak Chin being on ice. His crime, according to the GM was for being boring whilst telling the story of her getting lost on the run set! As they say revenge is best served COLD!!

FunniesTonight I dreamt of a beautiful walk on a sandy beach.At least that explains the footprints I found in the cat litter box this morning.
What do you get when you cross-breed a shark and a cow? I have no idea but I wouldn’t try milking it.
“I wasn’t that drunk yesterday.” “Oh boy you took the shower head in your arms and told it to stop crying.”
Of course I should clean my windows. But privacy is important too.
Sometimes it is very important if a sentence was said by a man or a woman. A good example: “I used a whole pack of tissues during that awesome movie yesterday!”
