EWB-HPC’s Vision

• Our interpretation of EWB-USA’s vision is:– To help disadvantaged communities locally, nationally and

internationally meet their basic needs through projects. – To have the Professional Members be a technical resource for

students of all levels. – To collect and provide research on sustainable technologies to

create internationally responsible engineers. – To maintain a presence in the local community through service.

• How are we achieving that vision?– By completing local, national and international engineering

projects– By providing support to local CT educational initiatives, such as the

Connecticut Pre-Engineering Program (CPEP) and local science fairs

– By providing regular support to Hartford Habitat for Humanity– By reaching out to other areas of our nation and to other chapters

to assist where needed– By supporting local college chapters of EWB– By providing technical presentations to our members at monthly

meetings
