It is the policy of the Board to award a fair share of business contracts to minority and women-owned business enterprises. The use of businesses based in the district will be given prime consideration; Satisfying these requirements means the participation of minority and women- owned businesses in contracts let by the district. The Harrisburg School District (HSD) has established, in connection with this
contract, the specified goals in the Bid Form for the utilization of Minority,
Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (M/W/DBEs). These goals
remain in effect throughout the life of the contract.

STOP! If you have not made a good faith effort, you cannot request a waiver.
If a good faith effort to utilize M/W/DBE contractors and/or suppliers has been performed and you have not completely met the M/W/DBE goals, the following is required in order to request a participation waiver:
