Approval of the 2019-2020 Proposed Final School Year Budget and Tax Levy (five affirmative votes required) 6.1 The Administration recommends approval of the following Final Budget and Tax Levy for the 2019-2020 school year: Revenues: $155,700791 Expenditures: $158,796,733 Estimated Use of Fund Balance: $3,095,942 Further, that the taxes to support the education expenditures of the District be based on the following: Real Estate Tax: 29.78 mills* on Land & Improvements Earned Income Tax: 0.50% Occupation Tax: $120.00 Local Services Tax: $156.00 (The District keeps $5.00 of this tax.) Real Estate Transfer Tax: 0.50% Amusement Tax: 5.00% Business Privilege Tax: 1.0 mill Mercantile Tax Retail: .75 mill *29.78 mills is equal to $29.78 on each $1000.00 of assessed valuation of taxable property. 6.1 The Administration recommends approval of the following Final Budget and Tax Levy for the 2019-2020 school year:
