Harrah's Rincon Casino in Valley Center, California, recently completed an extensive remodel of the original hotel, The Garden Tower. “We are delighted with the results of our remodeling project and look forward to sharing it with the Southern California community,” stated Vice President of Marketing Mike Stratton. “We believe that our guests will love the additions to the rooms, such as the plasma televi- sions, contemporary new furnishings and wall coverings, plus the private patios on the ground floor rooms of our Garden Tower. We truly believe we've taken the best and have made it even better for our guests.” Construction on the remodeling project began in September 2007 and was completed earlier this year. The project replaced the original Garden Tower lobby and office area with three additional rooms, bringing the room count for the Garden Tower to 203, and the total room count for the resort to 656. Luxurious new furniture, carpeting, wall coverings and plasma televisions have been installed in each room of the Garden Tower. Extensive work was done on the first floor, where the 17 pool level rooms have been fitted out with new private patios, enclosed with planter walls and metal trellis systems. And each pool level suite now has new sunken private spas. The Garden Tower pool area includes a new pool deck complete with two new spas, four private cabanas, a new water feature, fire pits with built-in seating benches and planters, and a lush landscaping scheme. Work has also been completed on a new state-of-the-art junior ballroom, located on the second floor of the Spa Tower. 76 Indian Gaming April 2008 OPENINGS & EXPANSIONS Angel of the Winds Casino Begins $44 Million Expansion Angel of the Winds Casino in Arlington, Washington, has begun construction of a $44 million dollar expansion adding over 84,000 sq. ft. to the existing property.
