Completed projects of 8 80 Cities can be found in Denmark, Canada, and the U.S. Mr. Penalosa runs his own international consulting firm, Gil Penalosa & Assoc. He is an accomplished presenter and inspirational speaker. Over the past 18 years, he has working in over 180 different cities across 6 continents. Gil is known for starting the wildly successful “ciclovia” program in Bogota, Colombia. Youth Leadership Harlingen students visited Harlingen Medical Center, the UTRGV Regional Academic Health Center and Harlingen Family Dentistry during their Health & Human Services session on Monday, November 7th.
