RF – Radio Frequency Reader

• ARM9 Processor• Connects to the Bus Network• 2 Open Collector Digital Outputs (Rated 100mA)• 1 Dry Contact Digital Input• Real Time Clock with Backup Battery• Buzzer and Status LED• Same Form as ELC – Flush ceiling mounted

LF – Low Frequency Exciter

• 125 KHz Field, good for covering exits• Continuously transmits magnetic signal with ID• ID Set via DIP Switches• Tuneable Range• Up to 3 meter range• Can be powered off Bus or separate power supply

Infant Tag

• Active long-range Radio Frequency Tag• Consists of reusable tag and disposable anklet band• Transmits low power UHF (433MHz)• Transmits device supervision for lost away babies• Tamper• Low frequency receiver (125KHz) – LF detection• Bath and Shower Proof, Simple to clean

Nurse Tag

• Active long range Radio Frequency Tag• 2 Programmable buttons, alarm cancel and nurse attack• Used for when system is running in ELC mode to stop alarms

Elpas System Overview

• Eiris – server based software• Runs as a service• SDK – Allows tracking of events from Eiris

• EV2 – Client based software• Configuration of ELC• Automatically adds tags to system• Allows monitoring of ELC / RF / LFs and Tags• System fault finding

• Add the Elpas hardware, ELC, RFs and LFs

• Configure the Local Control – ELC Backup mode

• Set the properties to Automatically add Tags

HS - Alarms

• Tag is at exit – detected by an LF• Tag is out of ward for too long, no detection via RF• Tag is lost• Tag is tampered• Battery level low

Setting Reader Outputs

• When baby at exit LF or on tag tamper the ELC and RFs fire outputs• Sound Alarm and flash light• Lock a mag-lock door• Disable a lift request• Disable a swipe card reader• Software can set state and duration of output
