It is the first paragraph of the news story and sets the news story’s structure. It is usually one sentence long and consists of the facts and followed by the details in the news story. It should give the readers information and wow them with convoluted style Examples: Courtesy of: UK News, February 16 2010 Courtesy of: Philippine Daily Inquirer, 2014
