Many things happened that year that would change history. Elvis Presley became an international, world acclaimed star with his Love Me Tender film, IBM created the first hard disk drive, Prince Rainier III of Monaco married film star Grace Kelly, Velcro fastening was introduced to the public and the Har-Brack “Class of 56” graduated and began their journey to make their mark on history. Sixty years later they came together to compare notes and catch-up. Thirty-eight classmates signed up to join the celebration along with 13 guests. The main event was held again at the Brackenridge Heights Golf Club. Friday evening was a scheduled “Meet and Greet” at the Anchor Inn in Birdville. Earlier on Friday, some of the classmates gathered at the old school for a “walk down memory lane.” There were representatives from 12 states and the Virgin Islands showing just how far the influence of this class has traveled. Friday afternoon a group of 12 classmates assembled at the old Har-Brack high for a tour of our Alma Mater.
