    ASEAN • To act as a forum for exchange of information

    and discussion on issues related to electricity in ASEAN

    Target group of network

    • Strengthening interconnection development• Enhancing greater private sector participation in

    power development• Encouraging standardisation of equipment for

    power development leading to manufacturing ofthese equipment within ASEAN;

    • Cooperation in joint development and utilisation ofenergy resources for power generation in ASEAN; and

    • Cooperation in human resources development inthe power sector in ASEAN.
