Applications: • Albida EP grease is especially suited for use in mining &

smelting operations, the steel industry, pulp & paper mills and cement plants. It is also recommended for any industrial applications where heavy-duty loads & wide temperature ranges are encountered

• Albida EP-1 and EP-2 greases also meet the NLGI GC-LB wheel bearing and chassis lubricant requirements, thus satisfying the needs of automotive and heavy-duty transportation equipment. Albida EP-1 can be used with confidence as the one grease for virtually every application on a Tractor Trailer all year long

• Note: Albida EP-2 is now also available as part of the Tactic Single Point lubricator offering. Applicable Product Code for this is 504-700-21 – Tactic EMV Albida EP-2, also required is the Drive Unit (JDE Product Code 96103000)

Advantages: Albida EP grease has the following properties: • Outstanding Mechanical Stability – it resists hardening or

softening in service delivering long grease life and dependable component protection

• Superior High Temperature Performance – its estimated maximum operating temperature of 160°C for the EP-2 grade is significantly higher than conventional soap greases

Retinax Grease CMX 2 is a multipurpose lithium complex high dropping point, extreme pressure (EP) grease containing molybdenum disulfide (moly).

Applications: • Construction, mining and agricultural applications for

Retinax Grease CMX 2 include virtually all points of grease lubrication found on dozers, scrapers, earthmovers, cranes, backhoes, shovels, rollers, tractors, combines and cotton pickers

• These lubrication points include all types of anti-friction bearing arrangements from plain sleeve-type to rolling element bearings as well as bushings and other sliding surface or pivot points. The presence of moly provides added shock loading protection

• Retinax Grease CMX 2 is formulated to perform well in conditions of high loads and temperature extremes

• Additionally, Retinax Grease CMX 2 provides excellent resistance and corrosion and are highly resistant to water washout

Alvania* Grease CG –For Couplings Used in Industrial Equipment 7.03

Alvania Grease CG is specially formulated with a lithium soap/polymer thickener, which has excellent resistance to oil separation when subjected to the high centrifugal forces normally found in couplings. Applications:Common grease lubricated couplings include:• Geared Couplings that have internal and external spur gears

that mesh within a common rotating hub connecting the shafts• Steel Grid Couplings that have a convoluted band of flexible

spring steel physically linking the hubs together• Flexible Chain Couplings that have a roller chain that meshes

with a sprocket cut in each mating hub• Alvania Grease CG is suitable for all types of grease lubricated

couplings used in industrial equipment• Advanced technology has enabled Alvania Grease CG to

perform beyond the normal 6-month change interval. In actual field experience this grease has shown its ability to perform satisfactorily beyond 3 years. This product should be used in all grease couplings, especially in those hard to service or those operating under severe conditions

• Because of its high base oil viscosity, Alvania Grease CG is also suitable for use in other industrial applications where the equipment is subject to high water wash, low speeds and heavy or shock loads

Advantages:• Resistance to centrifugal separation • Extended re-lubrication frequency • High load carrying capabilities • Resistance to water washout • Stays in place under high speeds • Corrosion and rust protection • Minimizes coupling wear • Minimizes coupling freeze-up • Use at temperatures up to 325°F • One grease for all grease coupling types • Based on ASTM D 1478 and D 4693 torque tests, the minimum

recommended bearing lubrication service would be -10°F• For coupling service the minimum usable temperature is not

dependent upon ease of pumping or bearing breakaway force. Field service confirms problem-free coupling service at -20°F and below

• Actual minimum temperature for coupling service would be below -20°F

Shell Malleus Greases STC are storage and thread compounds, meeting the requirements of the DEA 47(E) Committee for use as ‘green’ dopes. These greases are based on highly refined mineral oils with a calcium soap thickener and suitable additives to provide excellent corrosion protection, prevent galling of threads and ensure consistent make/break torques.

Stamina Grease RLS 2 is very high technology grease designed to give optimum performance for grease lubrication in industrial bearings. Applications:• Stamina Grease RLS is particularly recommended for use

in high temperature up to 180°C, lightly loaded industrial bearings. It is recommended for use where long operational life and extended re-greasing intervals are an important consideration

Note: Stamina RLS 2 is only available as part of the Tactic Single Point lubricator offering at this time. Applicable Product Code for this is 504-202-21 – Tactic EMV Stamina RLS 2, also required is the Drive Unit (JDE Product Code 96103000)

Applications:• Rotor drive gear boxes of Marietta Miners in potash mining• Drive gear boxes of conveyor systems• Gear boxes where leaking bearing seals make the use of a

Ultragel – High Temperature Grease 3.58

A synthetic grease for extremely high temperatures.

Applications:• Plain and rolling element bearings• Run-out table rolling bearings in steel mills• In mines, mills, boiler plants• In pulp and paper, saw mills• In cement and lime plants• NOT suitable for high speed or low temperature applications

due to the high viscosity base oil used• Prior to use, bearings should be thoroughly cleaned of

conventional greases

Advantages:• Outstanding high temperature resistance• Suitable up to 250°C with frequent relubrication• Superior mechanical stability against high shears and
