HOW TO ENTER THE BRITISH HAIRDRESSING BUSINESS AWARDS
1 Choose your category or categories
• Read the entry form thoroughly
• Select the category or categories that are most appropriate for you to enter
2 Put your entry together
• Visit the appropriate page on www.hji.co.uk and download the entry form.
• Ensure all pages are no larger than A4 in size. Anything submitted (including any additional information) that is larger than A4 will not be judged.
• In your opening statement, attract the judges’ attention by highlighting anything unique about you or your salon.
• Ensure that each of the points within your category’s criteria are answered clearly.
• If you are entering more than one category, make sure that each entry is unique in its content. The judges can become familiar with repeated entries.
3 Submit your entry
• Ensure your entry meets the deadline of 5pm Friday 16 June 2017
• If you would like your entry returned, please state on the entry form and enclose the appropriate self-addressed packaging.

The British Hairdressing Business Awards promote professionalism, innovation and excellence, while recognising those individuals and teams who work tirelessly to raise the profile of this industry, and make it one of which we can all be proud.
Open to all individuals and salons based in the UK, there are 17 categories to enter – from team categories such as Front of House Team of the Year, to the individual ones such as Salon Stylist and the prestigious Business Director of the Year.

• Entries will only be returned if you send in, with your entry
form, a correctly stamped self-addressed envelope and tick

• Winners will be announced at the Awards dinner on Monday
