Haigh-Brown Vineyard

Haight-Brown Vineyard was established in Connecticut in 1975.

All of the ingredients used in the wines are locally grown.

Haight-Brown is the first vineyard to have an established winery in the state of Connecticut.

Haight-Brown leases and owns over 20 acres of land for their winery and vineyard.

They have the capacity to produce over 35-tons of wine annually.

Types of wines that are produced here include Chardonnay, Riesling, Railway White, Picnic Red, Morning Harvest, Big Red, and Apricot Moon.

Haight-Brown is more than a winery, it is open to the public and available for events and private parties.

Haight-Brown offers classes for producing wine, growing grapes, and chocolate and cheese pairing.

The winery has several rooms that can accommodate groups of people ranging from 10 to 100.

They pride themselves on their relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

The vineyard grows several types of grapes to use in their wines, such as: Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc, Marechal Foch, Dechaunac, Marquette, Chardonelle.
