Hagstrom proudly presents the Viking® DLX Customs,
primarily based on the Hagstrom Viking® DLX with its
semi-hollow Maple ply body, Maple set neck, and stylish
Hagstrom Trapeze tailpiece which continues to adorn
this classic and influential instrument.
Two new ”Custom” finishes are introduced within the
release of this new model: “Mandarin” adorned with
glorifying golden hardware, and “Black Cherry” decorated
with its spectacularly silvery chrome hardware.
The specially designed Hagstrom H-50 Custom pickups
offers the similar flavour and tone of our classic H-50 pickups,
however offers a little extra “bite” due to the design of the
pickups partially open H-Framed pickup covers.
The H-50 Custom pickups still offer the monumental
“Viking® tone”, however delivering a “well rounded” edge
to offer an expressive tone to compliment the upstaged
“visual candy” that these two beauties have to offer.
The extensive beauty of these instruments will not out-
shine the exquisite tone produced by these models, where
quality timbers have been specifically chosen for players to
perform gracefully on stage, or in the comfort of their home.
Specially equipped with an utmost preamp system by our
fellow Scandinavians at “B-Band”, the incorporation of
their T-35 pickup system and under saddle transducer,
allows any acoustic player to simply “plug-in” and faithfully
reproduce the rich clarity that the Siljan Custom offers.
Known to many players, the use of maple has been recog-
nized as being especially useful for use in live situations
to combat unwanted feedback in loud environments.
