  • WifeThe most perfect of the believers is the best of you in character, and the best of you are those among you who are best to their wives. {Tirmidhi}

    ChildrenHe is not of se who has a compassion for our little ones and does not honour our old ones. {Tirmidhi}

    No father can give his child anything better than good manners. {Tirmidhi}

  • Be careful of your duty to Allah and be fair and just to your children {Bukhari}

    Whoever properly brings up two daughters until they reach maturity, that man and myself (the prophet) will be so close in paradise as two adjacent fingers {Muslim}

    GuestHe who believes in Allah and the Last Day should honour his guest {Bukhari}

  • NeighboursBy Allah, he has no faith (the prophet repeated it three times) whose neighbours are not safe from his wickedness {Bukhari}

    He is not a believer who eats his fill while his neighbour remain hungry by his side {Baihaqi}

    Jibrail has been recommending good treatment towards the neighbours, so much that I thought he would give him the right to inherit {Bukhari}

  • OrphanThe best house among the Muslims is the house in which an orphan is well treated and the worst house among the Muslims is the house in which an orphan is badly treated (Ibn Majah}

    The needyOne who tries to help the widow and the poor is like a warrior in the way of Allah {Bukhari}

  • Basic QualitiesIntentionActions shall be judged only by intention, a man shall get what he intends {Bukhari}

    TruthfulnessGuarantee me six things and I shall assure you of Paradise: When you speak, speak the truth, keep your promise, discharge your trust, guard your chastity and lower your gaze and withhold your hands from highhandedness {Baihaqi}

  • Keeping PromiseDo not quarrel with your brother Muslim, nor jest with him nor make him a promise which you cannot keep up {Tirmidhi}

    ToleranceThere are two rails in me which Allah likes, toleration and deliberation in understanding {Tirmidhi & Ahmad}

  • CharityEvery good action is a charity and it is good action to meet a friend with a smiling face {Bukhari}

    There is a man who gives charity and he conceals it so much that his left hand does not know what his right hand spends {Bukhari}

    Removal from a road that which is harmful is charity {Bukhari}

  • LearningThe best of you is he who has learnt the Quran and then taught it {Bukhari}

    The seeking of knowledge is a must for every Muslim man and woman {Mishkat}

    The learned men are the successors of the prophets. They leave behind knowledge as inheritance. One who inherits it obtains a great fortune {Bukhari}

  • KindnessAllah is not kind to him who is not kind to people {Bukhari & Muslim}

    Those who are kind and considerate to Allahs creatures, Allah bestows His kindness and affection on them. Show kindness to the creatures on the earth so that Allah may be kind to you {Abu Dawud & Tirmidhi}

    ThankfulnessHe who does not thank people does not thank Allah {Tirmidhi}

  • Steadfastness Sufian bin Abdullah said, I asked: O Allahs messenger, tell me something which I should stick to. He said: Say, my Lord is Allah then remain steadfast. {An-Nawawis forthy Hadith}

    Repentance (Tawbah)By Allah, I (Muhammad) ask Allahs forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy time a day {Bukhari}

  • GiftsGive gifts to one another, for gifts take away malice. {Mishkat}

    The messenger of Allah used to accept gifts and give gifts in return. {Bukhari}

    Visiting the SickVisiting the sick, feed the hungry and free the captives. {Bukhari}
