The GS School Community is immersed in revitalizing “The Leader in Me” philosophy. The Leader in Me provides a vision and language to lead the school in a way that addresses all areas of development. As each child discovers and develops his or her unique gifts and talents, they are given opportunities to lead. As leaders, they become active, engaged partners in their own education and their self-confidence, responsibility, and initiative grows. The children quickly understand the benefits of different gifts and talents; they learn to listen to new ideas, work together to achieve results, and motivate one another to be the best. We will be including a “Leader in Me” monthly letter describing the work we are doing at GS and an area that you can reinforce at home, if you choose. Check out this month’s newsletter below! Wow What a Week!
The GS School Community is immersed in revitalizing “The Leader in Me”
philosophy. The Leader in Me provides a vision and language to lead the school
in a way that addresses all areas of development. As each child discovers and
develops his or her unique gifts and talents, they are given opportunities to lead.
As leaders, they become active, engaged partners in their own education and
their self-confidence, responsibility, and initiative grows. The children quickly
understand the benefits of different gifts and talents; they learn to listen to new
ideas, work together to achieve results, and motivate one another to be the best.
We will be including a “Leader in Me” monthly letter describing the work we
are doing at GS and an area that you can reinforce at home, if you choose.

doing now, that would make a
significant, positive difference in
your work and personal life?

A Message from School Council
City of Airdrie Homeowners will find their 2018 Property Tax Assessment Notices in their mailboxes this week. Please take note of whether your School Support Declaration section is correct. If it requires updating to ensure your tax dollars support Catholic schools rather than public, there Is a School Support Declaration form and submission instructions available on the City of Airdrie website (www.airdrie.ca).
Please join us at our next School Council meeting on Monday January 22, 2018 at 6:30pm.
