Unit 78 – Digital Graphics for Computer GamesHA2 – Transformation Production Log
Name Luke Sullivan-Corbelle
Date: 21 November 2014
First, I started with an image to base the character off of. I had the following images.
I then put the image I wished to use into the cover art. I used the Pen Tool for this project.
I then did the head, eyes, hair and neck.
I then gave the neck a little bit of shadow underneath for depth.
I then did the robe, the left part.
I then did the arm.
I then did the hand and fingers.
Then I did the right of the robe.
I then did the right arm with a shadow.
Then, I did the hands and finger lines.
Moving on, I then did the sword. I had to start with the handle, however.
I then did the blade
And added the nice fine detailed points
For a good effect, I added a lens flare on the tip, to make it seem shiny and stand out.
The image below is the final result with the source image removed.
