Literacy Blackline Sequencing Cards: Print out the blackline cards and make copies for your students. Either cut out the cards in advance or have your students cut them. Take 12x18 inch sheets of construction paper, fold them in half (hot dog fold), and cut them on the fold line. Read each card to the children, and have them put the sequencing cards in order.
Materials: • 12x18 paper • Printable • Scissors • Glue
Children can glue the cards on the strip of paper. You may want to write the numbers 1-4 on the strip of paper to help children with spacing. ** I have also now included a one-page sequencing sheet. Have children cut out the pictures and glue in order on the numbers. You only need the printable, glue, scissors. ** Color Sequencing Cards: Print, laminate, and cut the cards apart. This set can be used in a literacy center for children to reuse and practice. You may also want to add Velcro or magnetic tape to the back of each card for use on a flannel board or magnet board. You can use a dollar store cookie sheet for an inexpensive magnet board.
