Release mechanism: the boat is normally secured to the sliding ramp by a special holding device. The release mechanism of the boat is activated by a hand-hydraulic pump operated by the helmsman from within the boat. Besides the boat can be released by a secondary emergency hydraulic pump.

This system will allow: controlled launch of the fully loaded rescueboat by gravity winch recovery of the fully loaded rescueboat by electric winch speed with a speed of 18 m/min controlled launch of the fully loaded liferaft by gravity winch stores handling by winch with a speed of 15 m/min at 2,1 to load
The crane unit will be supplied in one part, comprising of:
foundation ring with screws, nuts and washers ready for welding to deck column for bolting the crane on foundation ring. The column contains the hydraulically driven slewing gear with all necessary bearings. boom in closed welded design incorporating all shafts and sheaves stored power unit with hydraulic power pack at the column driven by electric motor or emergency hand pump for manual slewing, hydraulic accumulator, pressure relief safety block, inspection drain valve and hydraulic controls electric winch on column, with centrifugal brake, non-rotating safety crank handle, automatic clutch and smooth barrel to take fall in 2 layers; with fixed electric motor with stand still heater. The winch is suited for power driven hoisting and gravity lowering procedures, non rotating galvanized steel wire fall with triangle plate and ON/OFF-load rescueboat hook and liferaft hook starter box with control unit with push buttons for winch and remote control with 10 m cable stainless steel remote control wire for slewing and lowering fi-om inside the boat
