H. Michael Sage, CWD Drilling Dept. Manager Experience: Mr. Sage has been drilling since 1983, and is in direct charge of ARM’s six rig drilling team. He has completed hundreds of drilling projects from Maine to Georgia, recently completing geothermal projects at Seymour Johnson AFB, MCAS Beaufort, SC, MCLB Albany, GA, and active on-board USMC Camp Lejeune, NC. Mr. Sage is competent and comfortable with mud rotary, air rotary and percussion hammer, small and large diameter auger drilling, coring, geotechnical, and wire line sampling. He has completed projects ranging from geothermal well fields, methane collection wells and landfill drilling, private sector well construction, high volume wells, monitoring wells, specialty drilling and well construction, marine and barge drilling, and dewatering systems. Mike is also extensively trained and works with various pumping systems. He intuitively trouble shoots and understands submersible pumps, submersible turbine, line shaft turbine, piston, centrifugal, and positive displacement pumps and their electrical and mechanical systems. His wide geographical experience and geological knowledge allows for Mike to understand the project geology before breaking ground. Fields of Competence a.
