Substance Abuse & Maine Drug Overdose
Substance use has a deep impact in our communities,
throughout Maine and our nation. More than one person
a day loses his/her life to a drug overdose in Maine.
There is no discrimination in this issue. People and
families from all walks of life are struggling and dealing
with substance use and the loss of loved ones.
Please join community and interfaith leaders

Room at the Inn: A wonderful gift that gives twice! The
vision and dream of Saint Joseph Parish is to support one
bed at the Emmaus Homeless Shelter each day of the
whole year with a donation in honor of one particular
person. By making a contribution in the name of your
loved one, someone in your local community will sleep in a
warm, safe bed for the night. “It is in giving that we
receive.” Donations honoring your loved one may be made
through the Saint Joseph Parish Office (667-2342).
