Persistent excess glandular tissue, fat and skincan be surgically removed from around the areolaand from the bottom and sides of the breasts tocreate a new smaller breast contour if liposuctionis not indicated. Swelling and bruising are normaland will subside over the next few weeks.
You will need to wear an elastic bandage orpressure garment as your breasts heal. Scarring isusually minimal and will fade with time. Youshould avoid direct sun exposure for six weeks.
