A Workshop and Repair Facility was set up in Mussafah in 1990 and the process of Manufacturing and servicing equipment in this facility began in 1992.

Historical HighlightsHistorical Highlights70’s Deutsche Babcock enters the Middle East market with the first boilers being delivered to Abu Dhabi

in the United Arab Emirates.80’s Deutsche Babcock is awarded several key maintenance contracts to provide yearly

maintenance support for major equipment and overhauls in all Abu Dhabi’s power stations. This then forms the basis of today’s developments and activities.

90’s Establishment of new manufacturing and repair facility in Abu Dhabi ( Mussafah ) industrialzone 1992 Commencement of manufacturing operations.

1995 Extension of machine shop and installation of Horizontal,Vertical, & Floor boring Mch’s1996 Extension to Pressure Vessel shop & laydown areas ( 6000sqm ) for assembly of large

Vessels, Boilers, Boiler components,Evaporators and Skid modules.1997 Installation of additional overhead gantry cranes ( 140 t ) in tandem. Establishment of
