Subject: Dated 1/3/2016 held Public Hearing regarding
DearSir,
Date: 1/3/2016
'.--
Environmental Public hearing for M/s. Vinod Pandya was scheduled on 01/03/2016, the point wise
replies against the queries raised by you, are as below:
1. Revenue survey number is mentioned on the cover page of executive summary. The lease
area is situated at survey number 30/P, 415/A, 949 of village Lamba and survey number358
of village Bhatia.
2. Garland drains in surrounding the lease boundary and settlement tank will be developed to
prevent the flow of water from lease area and road will be constructed.
3. Maximum depth will be upto 5.2 meter in rnlnedout land because Bauxite are present only
upto 5.2 meter depth .
4. Regularwater sprinkling will be done during mining and it is also proposed in EIAreport.
5. Our mining operation is limited for 54.0861 hect only with very less production capacity of
73,800 TPA. As per the study conducted in terms of Water, Land, Air and Noise, it doesn't
create any major damage to the Environment. The Soil in this area is saline in nature. The
Ground Water and Surface water salinity is not due to mining. Mining activity will not
intersect the Ground water level and therefore, there will not be any impact on ground
water and surface water due to mining. As there is very less rainfall in this region and
therefore, company is arranging for supply of drinking water through tankers.
6. Mining will be by Semi mechanized open cast method only, only 12 trucks will move per day
and regular water sprinkling will be done. There are no any health related problems noted
due to mining. High way is 0.9 km away from block D and 1.14 and 3.22 km form BlockA and
C of the lease area respectively and dust emisslon upto these places is not possible.
Therefore, accidents and the health related problems are not possible.
7. Landuse of the study area of 10 km radius is studied from the interpretation of Satellite
imagery and it is mentioned.
8. Lease area is Government Waste land and soil is Semi Alkaline in nature . According to the
season, seasonal crops such as Groundnut, Cotton and Cumin are cultivated.
