Physical DescriptionGuinea pigs grow up to 14 inches (36 centimeters) long. A guinea pig has a large head, small ears, and short legs. Wild guinea pigs are gray or brown.
Guinea pigs kept as pets can be white, black, brown, red, or a mixture of colors.
DietGuinea pigs are easy to keep as pets. They need cages with
plenty of fresh air and water. Guinea pigs usually eat dry grains, greens, and hay.
Interesting FactsGuinea pigs will go to the bathroom and they will drag their bodies so
that they can mark their territory. Guinea pigs will act weird when their cage is cleaned.
