What is it?What is it?• Aim: to define our guidance and state how resources

are organised to deliver the programme.• Our main objectives are:

-To help each student achieve their full potential, academically, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially in a happy secure environment.

o Human resources:

Tutors’ main functions towards :- pupils and students: to facilitate their integration

and socialization; to personalize teaching/learning processes; to single out special educative needs; to evaluate and assist them, to support their vocational maturity, to support their participation and collaboration.

The Equipos Interdisciplinarios de Sector (multidisciplinary support teams) are composed by psychologists, pedagogues, social assistants, speech therapists and, sometimes, doctors.

They work territorially as a supporting instrument and are organized as follow:

- General teams for psycho pedagogic and educative guidance: they offer continuative support through the planning and development of scholastic curricula following the principle of attention to diversity- Early Attention teams: during pre-primary education; they early detect special educative needs- Specific teams: they work on psychomotor, hearing, and visual deficiencies, and on TGD.

Departamento de Orientación (guidance department).

• Composed by a psychologist/pedagogue, three teachers related to the ambits of humanities, science and practice and teachers experts in training and guidance.

• The main functions are represented by:- the suggestion of actions for the implementation of the

academic guidance plan- the drawing up of the tutorial action plan- the assistance of tutors- the contribution to the personalization of the curricula- the evaluation of the guidance actions- the channelling of the intervention of the

multidisciplinary support teams

childrenif you are right-handed, and your child is left-handed, you will always FACE him when showing them, but if you are both right-handed (or left-handed) you must stand BEHIND them.

about the jobs they do.• Teach joined-up writing from an early stage• Let children develop their own word dictionary where

they can practice difficult, new or irregular words.• Talk about letters, words and stories to create an

interest • Use technical aids to individualize work - tape recorder

and earphones, computers etc.• Play games to reinforce learning.• Give as much practice in reading, writing and spelling

as possible to develop automatic skills, and remember - dyslexic children need more practice than most children.
