I think Father Time must be wearing roller skates this year, as 2017 is soon to disappear! Oh wait; I’m much too late, it’s gone forever! In that case-Happy New Year!
Quilt Raffle time is fast approaching – On your time we will be encroaching. The quilt is made, new plans have been laid, pay close attention to our coaching.
New ways have become old – Old ways have become new; that’s why we’re calling on each one of YOU!
We heard everyone’s cries, boo hoos & Oh my’s, so a few changes appeared to be needed. Be patient my dear & you will hear, your suggestions have been heeded.
Don’t fret any longer, it’s simple, you’ll see; keep your eyes peeled & your ears listening to me. The Silent Auction, we’ve found, has added no big jewels to CDA’s crown, it’s been suggested to replace with cash donations.
So dig deep in your pockets and hock those old lockets, give us cash for a cha-ching sensation.
We’ll put your money into one big pot, depending on how much we get – we hope it’s a lot!
Making the raffle prizes bigger & better, more incentive to buy & sell tickets; even easier to be a true go getter!
You can sign up for a time that’s oh so sublime that matches your schedule completely; makes it easy to sign on the dotted line when you’re at church praising God, singing so sweetly.
All’s we ask & request is you do your very best to make this year’s raffle more than okay. Give from your heart, let’s ALL do our part in Unity & Charity of CDA!
Stay tuned for more instructions from your Raffle Team Chairs – it’s not too early to pray for success as we coordinate our affairs!
