SHIP OVERVIEW:

Carnival Liberty

If you’re looking to vacation on one of the most amazing ships at sea, feel free… it’s Carnival Liberty! And

Carnival Liberty just so happens to be packed with some of the latest, greatest features you’ll find anywhere.

For instance, guess which was the first ship to serve up gourmet Guy Fieri burgers daily. And which one debuted

what is perhaps the world’s greatest sports bar, which combines live sports on TV, lively competition through the

latest EA SPORTS titles… not to mention great drinks. It’s the same ship with tacos and burritos on Lido deck,

made fresh while you wait, plus two great bars — one rum-slinging, one tequila-wielding — dueling for your

heart.

This, however, is just the beginning of what to expect from the ship you’d call one great vacation spot. We’d

agree — we just happen to call it Carnival Liberty.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What’s included in my cruise fare?

Your roundtrip transportation; cruise accommodations; 24/7 dining in your choice of venues; coffee, tea, juice

with breakfast, lunch & dinner at the buffet; coffee, tea with lunch or dinner in the Main Dining Room; onboard

ship entertainment which may consist of professional comedy club or Broadway-style shows.

What can I do while the ship is in port?

Terry McKinney, your travel professional, can arrange group shore excursions at preferred pricing in advance

of your departure. Or you can purchase shore excursions once you board the Carnival Liberty. Or you can

simply walk off the ship while it’s in port and go shopping, have lunch, or lounge by the sea. Or…you can just

stay onboard the ship and enjoy the amenities this beautiful ship has to offer.

What is confirmed dining and what are the dining times?

At time of booking, Carnival guests will be able to confirm their preferred dining choice. If their preference is

not available, they may confirm an alternate choice and be waitlisted for their preferred choice. Waitlists will be

cleared prior to the sailing and guests will be notified by email. Parties traveling together who are waitlisted will

be cleared for the same dining time.

Lunch and dinner are also available bistro-style on the Lido Deck – all included in your cruise fare!

By popular request, all dining rooms are now smoke-free.

Breakfast & Lunch

Breakfast: 7:45 AM - 9:00 AM

Lunch: Noon – 1:30 PM

For breakfast and lunch, the main dining rooms are organized as "open seating," where you may come and go as

you please during the set hours and are not obligated to sit at your assigned table.

Breakfast times vary by ship; the times above are provided as a general guideline. Please check your daily

newsletter for exact times. You can also enjoy a continental breakfast in your stateroom until 10:00 AM or a

limited breakfast menu on deck.

Dinner

Early Seating: 6:00 PM

Late Seating: 8:15 PM

*Your Time: 5:45 to 9:30 PM

*Prefer a little flexibility? No reservations required. Your Time dining allows you to dine in the main dining

room, at your leisure, anytime between 5:45 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Guests are seated first-come, first-serve,

depending on party size. In most cases, guests are accommodated within 20 minutes. However, pagers are

provided if all tables are occupied so guests can relax elsewhere on the ship until their table is ready. Due to the

limited number of large table availability, parties with greater than 10 guests may need to be accommodated at

different tables. For groups, I always suggest pre-reserving either Early Dining or Late Dining so that everyone

can sit near each other. (Dining times are subject to change.)

What is the required travel documentation for all ports?

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION - ALL GUESTS & PORTS Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise. Even though a guest has

completed registration using Online Check-in, it is still the responsibility of the guest to present the required travel

documents at the time of embarkation. Any guest without proper documents will not be allowed to board the

vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. Carnival assumes no responsibility for advising guests of

proper travel documentation.

CRUISE TRAVEL

U.S. Citizens Carnival and Cruise Planners highly recommend all guests travel with a valid U.S. Passport Book. Although a

passport is not required for U.S. citizens taking cruises that begin and end in the same or a different U.S. port,

travelling with a passport may help to expedite your CBP clearance upon return to the U.S. Additionally,

passports are required in the event you need to fly from the U.S. to a foreign port should you miss your scheduled

port of embarkation, or need to fly back to the U.S. for emergency reasons.

The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) allows U.S. citizens (including children) sailing on cruises

that begin and end in the same U.S. port to travel with one of the WHTI compliant documents, listed

below. Additionally, the same document requirements apply when taking a cruise that begins and ends in a

different U.S. port.

• Valid U.S. Passport

• Passport Card

• Original or suitable quality copy of a Birth Certificate (Issued by a government agency: state/county/city) and

a government issued photo ID if 16 years of age and older. In the event your current last name is different from

what’s listed on your birth certificate, you’ll be required to show marriage licenses/divorce decrees, etc. that

show the progression of name changes. Again, either original or certified copies only.

• Original Certificate of Naturalization

• Enhanced Tribal Card

• A Consular Report of Birth Abroad

• Enhanced Driver’s License (EDL) – only acceptable at land and sea ports of entry. It cannot be used for air

travel outside the U.S. The word ‘Enhanced’ must appear on the driver’s license. The following five states

currently issue an EDL: Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Vermont and Washington.

Copies of U.S. passports and naturalization papers, hospital and baptismal certificates are not WHTI compliant

documents, therefore, are NOT acceptable.

Birth certificates from Puerto Rico issued prior to July 1, 2010 are not valid forms of proof of citizenship that is

accepted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Guests from Puerto Rico either need to present a WHTI-

compliant document or a government-issued photo identification with a validated birth certificate issued after

July 1, 2010.

Photo Identification

In addition to proof of citizenship, a non-expired government-issued photo I.D is required of all guests 16

years of age and older. The following are acceptable:

• Valid Driver’s License

• Valid Driver’s Permit

• Valid School/Student I.D (acceptable ONLY for guests under 19 years of age)

• Valid Government-Issued identification card (city/state/federal)

Page 7: Guest Invitee Overview Carnival Liberty 011316

7

Sailings from Hawaii and Transpacific Cruises

U.S. citizens must have a valid passport.

U.S. Alien Residents and Non-U.S. Citizens

U.S. Alien Residents require a valid Alien Resident Card and, in some cases, a passport (depending on

itinerary) to travel on all Carnival cruises. Guest must check with their consulate, travel agent or appropriate

government authority to determine if their nationality requires they also bring a passport along with their Alien

Resident Card.

Non-U.S. citizens require a valid machine readable passport and a valid, unexpired U.S. Multiple Re-entry Visa,

if applicable, to travel on all Carnival cruises. Guests are advised to check with their consulate, travel agent or

appropriate government authority to determine the necessary documents.

Non-U.S. citizens that are eligible to apply for admission under the Visa Waiver Pilot Program, must still have a

valid unexpired passport. U.S. State Department regulations require all guests traveling from visa-waiver

countries be in possession of a machine-readable passport that includes a biometric identifier - e.g., embedded

digital photograph. Otherwise, guests will be required to obtain a U.S. Multiple Re-entry Visa. Guests without

proper identification may be refused boarding or entry into the United States.

On occasion, non-U.S. citizens and U.S. Alien Residents may be asked to surrender their passport and/or Alien

Resident Card at time of embarkation. These documents will be returned upon completion of the Immigration

inspection at the time of debarkation.

What to wear?

Casual attire is the order of the day. We suggest shorts, sundresses, tank tops, etc. for the ladies, and for men;

shorts, polo shirts, T-shirts, etc. will do. We suggest you wear rubber-soled, low heeled or flat shoes for extra

traction while onboard. The use of any footwear with wheels, including but not limited, to Heelys© shoes, is

prohibited on board our ships. For dining you may want to dress up a bit and/or bring along a light sports jacket

or cardigan.

Most evenings we have a Cruise Casual dress code, but there are those Cruise Elegant evenings one or two nights

throughout your “Fun Ship” voyage, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your more elegant attire.

For those who want casual attire for dinner time, the Lido Restaurant is open nightly, and has a more relaxed

theme. However, shirts and shoes/footwear (flip-flops) must be worn at all times inside the Lido Restaurant.

Both dress codes for the dining rooms are described below.

Cruise Casual Dining Dress Code: Gentlemen - Sport slacks, khakis, jeans (no cut-offs), dress shorts (long),

collared sport shirts; Ladies - Casual dresses, casual skirts or pants and blouses, summer dresses, Capri pants.

Not permitted in the dining room during the Cruise Casual dinner for ladies and gentlemen: cut-off jeans,

men's sleeveless shirts, gym or basketball shorts, baseball hats, flip-flops and bathing suit attire.

Cruise Elegant Dining Dress Code: Gentlemen - Dress slacks, dress shirts. We also suggest a sport coat. If

you wish to wear suits and ties or tuxedos, by all means we invite you to do so. Ladies - Cocktail dresses,

pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses; if you‘d like to show off your evening gowns, that's great too!

What is the tipping policy onboard?

For your convenience, Carnival automatically charges the gratuities for dining and stateroom staff to your onboard

Sail & Sign account. The total amount is $12.00 per guest, per day and breakdown as follows:

• Stateroom service team $3.90 per day

• Dining room service team $6.10 per day

• Alternative services team* $2.00 per day

(*galley, entertainment, guest services and other hotel staff members)

As a convenience gratuities will be automatically posted to your Sail & Sign account on the second day of your

cruise. Our Staff is totally committed to exceed your expectations in every way possible. If you are not satisfied

with the service you receive, we encourage you to contact the Guest Services desk while onboard. This will allow

us to address your concerns in a timely and appropriate fashion. Once gratuities have been posted, you may adjust

them at your discretion at any time while onboard. Gratuities will be deemed undisputed unless a request to

modify is received prior to disembarking the ship.

For beverage purchases, fifteen percent of the bill is automatically added to the Sail & Sign charge. Room Service

staff may be tipped as service is rendered.

*Gratuities do not apply to guests less than 2 years of age

I will ask you when making your reservations if you want to pre-pay your gratuities which will then be added

onto your reservation at the rate of $60.00 per person for this 5-night cruise and the payment thereof will be added

to your final payment due by October 24, 2016.

What is the Liquor and Beverage Policy?

A liquor and beverage consumption policy was created in order for Carnival to be able to control the liquor

consumption of minors and the quantities consumed that lead to the disruptive behavior of others on board.

Liquor and Beverage Policy

Bringing Alcohol On Board - Embarkation Day:

Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board. However, at the beginning of the cruise during

embarkation day, guests (21 years of age and older) may bring on board one 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne,

per person, only in their carry-on luggage. A $15 corkage fee per 750 ml bottle will be charged should you wish

to consume this wine in the main dining room or steakhouse. (A corkage fee is a charge exacted at a restaurant

for every bottle of liquor served that was not bought on the premises)

On embarkation day, each guest may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages on board and only in their

carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 bottles and/or cans, 20 ounces each or less.

Page 9: Guest Invitee Overview Carnival Liberty 011316

9

All alcohol/hard liquor/beer (sealed, unopened bottles/cans), wine/champagne over the allowable 1-bottle per

guest (sealed, unopened bottles) or excessive quantities of non-alcoholic beverages (over 12 per person, sealed,

unopened bottles/cans) will be confiscated and stored for safekeeping until the end of the voyage. The retained

item(s) will be available for collection onboard in a designated location on the morning of debarkation. Unsealed

liquids that are prohibited will be discarded, as well as any unclaimed items left after the voyage, and no

compensation will be given in either case.

Important Notice: Effective January 4, 2014, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) will begin

collecting tax. This tax will apply to all liquor and tobacco that enters the state of Texas via the cruise terminal. All

purchases made on the islands, as well as onboard, will be taxed upon debarkation in the cruise terminal. These

duties will be addition to whatever taxes may be imposed by US Customs.

A letter and form will be distributed to all staterooms before embarkation commences. Guests will need to

complete the form and carry it with them when they disembark.

Beverage packages can be purchased once your board the ship or prior to embarkation by going through

Carnival’s Gift Program via their website, and the alcoholic beverage package is currently $49.95 per person per

day plus 15% gratuity, so you 5-day cruise will cost $287.21 per person for Carnival’s Beverage Package, but

this gets you up to 15 drinks per day each with a value not exceeding $10.00 each.

Large cooler restrictions:

Carnival Cruise Lines does not allow guests to bring large coolers on board its ships. However small, personal-

sized coolers, no larger than 12”H x 12”L x 12”W for the purpose of housing small quantities of non-alcoholic

beverages and/or medications are permitted as carry-on luggage. Screening and movement of large coolers

through embarkation is an impediment to the boarding and security screening process. Therefore, large coolers

are not permitted as carry-on or checked luggage.

Ports-of-Call:

Alcoholic beverages of any kind purchased in any Port-of-Call will be retained at the gangway, stored on board

and held by Carnival until the end of the voyage.

Page 10: Guest Invitee Overview Carnival Liberty 011316

10

Gift Shops On Board:

Alcoholic beverages of any kind purchased in the ship's gift shop will be stored on board and be retained by

Carnival until the end of the voyage.

The Fun Shops or Room Service:

Alcohol orders made through The Fun Shops or Room Service are not permitted to be taken to any location

outside of the approved delivery locations specified for those products at the time of purchase. These programs

are designed for in-cabin entertaining or in-dining consumption only. Consumption in public areas is strictly

prohibited.

Drinking Alcohol On Board:

The minimum age for the purchase and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages in the bars, lounges and gift shops

is 21 years of age. In the event that Bar/Restaurant/Gift Shop staff are in question that a guest is less than 21

years old, they shall request picture identification, prior to serving the drink or selling the bottle of liquor.

Carnival reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcoholic beverages to anyone.

Are there any age restrictions onboard?

Drinking alcoholic beverages: Guest must be 21 years of age or older to be served alcohol on board. Proper

I.D. with birth date is required.

Page 11: Guest Invitee Overview Carnival Liberty 011316

11

Use of the pools : Children who are not toilet trained (and those in diapers or swim diapers) are not allowed in

any of the water facilities onboard, as per United States Public Health Services. Toilet trained children should be

taken on frequent bathroom breaks. Note: This includes the whirlpools.

Lifeguards are not on duty.

The pools are not designed for diving.

Use of the pools by guests under 13 without adult supervision is prohibited.

Why does Carnival place holds on credit cards used during the sailing?

For our guest convenience Carnival validates the credit/debit card to ensure there is funding. This prevents any

onboard expense account concerns while on your cruise vacation.

Please note, if any payment is given to replace credit/debit card previously used, the hold will remain on your

account. This will reduce the amount of funds available on your credit/debit card account. The release of this hold

is entirely up to the issuing bank. It can take up to 5 - 7 business days after your cruise return.

What is the VIFP Club?

The VIFP Club stands for the Very Important Fun Person Club, Carnival’s new guest recognition program.

If you’re a Past Guest, the program recognizes you for your continued loyalty to Carnival with increasing

recognition and benefits as you cruise more and more.

New to Carnival? The VIFP Club is a warm welcome to the Carnival experience and gives you access to VIFP

members-only rates and promotions.

Are there restrictions on what we can bring aboard?

The travel insurance ensures that if you have an unexpected emergency that would prohibit you from taking the

cruise, you will be eligible for a refund. Additionally, if you have an emergency medical issue while onboard the

ship, medical coverage (including medical evacuation coverage) is included in the policy. Well worth the nominal

premium – so you don’t worry about the unexpected!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Reservations are now open and I would encourage everyone to contact Terry McKinney (832-520-1795)

before February 8th – after that date Carnival will take back all unsold rooms and our pricing will change

again. You’ll still be able to book into this wedding group block but the rates may change and there’s no

guarantee of room categories that will be available. It’s best to contact me prior to 2.8.16!

Room rates are quoted in US dollars, per person, and all rooms are based on double occupancy.

The required deposit is $150.00 per person and under our group rates this deposit is refundable up until

February 8th, 2016. After that date, penalties apply.

All reservations must be made by February 8, 2016.

We accept all major credit cards (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or debit cards as long

as either the Visa or Mastercard logo are displayed thereon and can be run through as credit).

All charges will be processed by Carnival Cruise Line in U.S. Dollars. For non-U.S. residents, please

note that there may be a foreign transaction fee charged by your credit card company.

No cancellations will be allowed after October 29th without the inclusion of travel insurance. Without the

travel insurance and cancellation after October 29th, there will be no refund.

No changes will be allowed to be made to your reservations after October 29th assuming you book within

the group rate block at the rates listed above.

Monthly or quarterly payment plans for all final balances are accepted with no service fee, and a completed

credit card authorization form must be on file.

All trip final payments will be due by October 24, 2016 – NO EXCEPTIONS.
