GTV is an NGO that works in the international solidarity and education for development. It's mission is to put in relation the Trentino community with South East Asia in order to develop capabilities and exchange experiences with focus on vulnerable people rights like children, women and minorities. GTV intends selfdevelopment as an antidote for the exploitation.

The ecotourism project is

integrated with handicraft

Not only services for tourists, but also services to rise the popolation’s living standard


Rural Development

Involvement of all local stakeholders (Representatives of homestays, of tourist guides, of incence and of honey producers, the commune authorities) and some external stakeholders, like a national tour operator and two researchers of the National Economic University to survey the tourist demand in the Khe Ro primitive forest


Vocational Development

Reintegration of victims of Traffiking throught an handicracft cooperative in Hai Duong, Vietnam



Objectives:

Reinforcing professional skills, give a work opportunity and give psicological support to young girls being trafficked trought the creation of a cooperative



Objectives:

Let people of the community being aware of problem of traffiking both in order to prevent new rapes, both in order to reinforce that process of integration of victims who came back.


Education in Bangladesh

Objectives:

The project aims to insert in scholastic curriculum a formulation courses on disaster risk management and impact mitigation. Those activities would involve not only schools’ class rooms but also the whole community through socio-recreational activities, like concert in schools’ with the participation of parents, local authorities and different organizations of the civil society.


Neonatal Health

In the sanitary sector, in collaboration with Amici della Neonatologia di Trento, GTV has intervened through

* health sector personel training activities* equipment of medical instruments * rehabilitation of sanitary infrastructures in particular in the obstetric-gynecologic and in the pediatric-neonatologic area.


Neonatal Health

In all projects, a special attention is paid to women’s and children’s well-being, because of their fundamental role played in the society and economy and because they usually represent the less-protected subjects in developing countries.


Rural Development

The general objective of this project is to contribute to improve the poverty with the guarantee of food security and water access for the population of two Atauro island's villages (Beloi and Manumeta) in Timor Est.

Integrating three areas: 1-agricultural and reforestation's development2-fishing's development3-water access
