STUDY ABROAD STUDIO ART PROGRAMME (SASAP)

The Glasgow School of Art (GSA) is an international community of artists, designers and architects, located in the vibrant, cosmopolitan heart of Glasgow. Founded in 1845, the GSA is one of the few remaining independent art schools in the UK. A third of our student population (2,300) are from outside the UK, representing 69 different countries. GSA has a proven history of producing some of the world’s most influential and successful creative practitioners, and its studio-based specialist, practice-led education draws talented individuals with a shared passion for visual culture from all over the world.

The SASAP provides Study Abroad students with the opportunity to work in a studio environment and experience our distinctive, specialist, practice based education. If you study at the GSA, you will find yourself part of a culture that creates an open and supportive environment, guidance and encouragement to help every student make the most of their talents. Students will find being part of GSA on your Study Abroad semester a stimulating experience in which to experiment and to explore new ideas and new subjects of study.
