INTRODUCTION
User wants to display a message in the led board
User sends the message from his mobile defining the message in the code format and then to the number of the subscriber identity module (SIM) which is inserted in the display system MODEM.

GSM modem SIM900A
GSM, which stands for Global System for Mobile communications, reigns as the
world’s most widely used cell phone technology. Cell phones use a cell phone service
carrier’s GSM network by searching for cell phone towers in the nearby area.
The power supply of SIM900A is 3.4V to 4.5V only.
Most 2G GSM networks operate in the 900 MHz bands.
A GSM network consists of several functional entities whose functions and
interfaces are defined. The GSM network can be divided into following broad parts.
· The Mobile Station (MS)
· The Base Station Subsystem (BSS)
· The Network Switching Subsystem (NSS)
· The Operation Support Subsystem (OSS)
