Discipline Discipline is the first principle that makes a man to be adored in the society. Your behaviour and discipline defines our work culture. One should keep in mind that once he/she enters the factory premises he/she needs to follow certain rules and build a work culture which is smooth and friendly. It is then the duty of the managers to see whether the same has been in place or not. Discipline includes dressing, behaving and the your way of speaking. 21. Greetings & Communication Skills Everyone should greet each other as soon as you enter the premises and see your seniors & co-workers. Greetings can be in any language but it is important to be practiced daily. Greetings make you feel noticed and creates a sense of respect. You should speak in a soft note , as the way you talk will definitely influence the people working under you. 22. Dressing up & Presentability How we dress really affect how we act. Everyone should be in the respective uniforms provided to them and the same should be properly cleaned and ironed. Apart from your uniform , you should make yourself presentable so as to suit your work environment. Proper distribution of aprons and head caps to all the operating staff should be duty of the managers and seniors above them. Also depositing of the same should be your duty while you leave the premises. 23. TEAMWORK "Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results." --Andrew Carnegie Everyone should consider themselves an important part of the team and work towards achieving the common goal. 24. 5. Respect amongst co-workers It is important to conduct behaviour which help you earn respect, remember respect can be earned and not demanded. Dos- a. Learn to respect people above you and below in your organization. b. Acknowledge/appreciate the good work of your sub-ordinates. c. Practice to learn from your mistakes Donts- a.
