Services are pending at this time, but will be through Klingner-Cope Funeral Home. Good morning and welcome to Sunset! As we come together this morning let us mirror the psalmist’s enthusiasm in Psalm 100: “make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!” I’m very thankful to be part of a congregation that has so many differ- ent events for people of all ages. I encourage you to take advantage of these times of fellowship! This Saturday (7/6) at 6PM will be the Sun- set Backyard Picnic located just on the east side of the building in the empty lot. We will have food, games, a bounce house, and a car show. Everyone is welcome! Next Sunday (7/7) is Bring a Friend Sun- day. If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to invite a classmate, co-worker, or acquaintance of some kind to church, next Sunday is the perfect opportunity! Our Happy Hollow campers and helpers returned from camp yester- day! Church camp has such a profound impact on our youth. I know we are all looking forward to hearing about the fun and spiritual growth that took place. Russell Abercrombie came forward last week asking for our prayers regarding his relationship with his daughter. I appreciate Russell’s will- ingness to ask his brothers and sisters for help, and know that many will continue to pray for him during this difficult time. I pray everyone has a blessed week!
