The Princes Countryside Fund welcomes applications from rural business owners, who could gain up to three business mentoring sessions. Priority, however, is given to young people and those in upland areas. Julie from Growing Rural Enterprise said, “We are really enjoying the project. The Princes Countryside Fund has made a huge difference to so many rural businesses. Some of the businesses we’ve mentored recently include a basket maker, someone setting up a fishery, several horticultural contractors, a farm tourism business, a care farm base on a smallholding and lots of other new and exciting ventures”. If you know of a rural business who would like mentoring in order to become more sustainable, then please get in touch with Julie on: [email protected].
