KOREAN DYNASTIES
The Korean state was founded by a legendary hero named Tan’gun, whose father was a god and the mother was a bear. Another legend says the state was founded by the Chinese Shang Dynasty. These legends show how Koreans were highly influenced by Chinese cultures. Although Koreans created their own traditions, they also adapted the Chinese cultures, blending it in to the Korean native traditions.
