Theory of change

• By creating awareness among mothers we believe we can strengthen and develop the community better than any other approach because women lie at the core of every family.

• By carrying out a program which focuses on the skill development of mothers unemployment in the area can be decreased.

• By conducting counseling session with mothers we can boost education of children by educating mothers.

• We can make mothers realize that healthy children would give rise to healthy community.

Solution

• Services: Women mentoring (with a focus on mothers).

• We will establish a skill development institute for women which would also include awareness and counseling session with women of the community.

Page 9: Group 3 Presentation Women Empowerment

Activities we would perform

• Building skills of women especially mothers via training sessions (teaching them Balochi and Gilgiti embroidery)

• Awareness sessions on issues like children education, health and family planning.

• One to one counseling of mothers.• Sports competitions for school children in vocations• We would regularly organize environmental campaigns to boost

cleanliness in the area• Customers: Women of the community

Competition in the area.

• There are various vocational training centers in Murreewhich do not cover aspects of awareness and counseling.

• There are no trained mentors or if there was a skilled mentor she was not paid at par because of which the quality was effected.
