Primary objective of the service is provision of spatially and temporally consistent, dense and synoptic results giving insight on distribution and variance of subsidence phenomena in space and its dynamics in time. Persistent scatterers interferometry (PSI) technique measuring ground deformations from stacks of archive SAR imagery (Sentinel-1 and TerraSAR-X) was utilized to estimate displacements caused by ground subsidence in data with synoptic spatial coverage and considerable accuracy. The core user of the map is Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the national civil protection authoritiy Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK). Map products are available in the Copernicus EMS Portal at the following URL: https://emergency.copernicus.eu/mapping/list-of-components/EMSN057. Delivery formats are GeoPDF and vectors. E-mail: [email protected] http://emergency.copernicus.eu/mapping This map shows annual ground subsidence displacements in vertical direction in AOI 01 Long Xuyen. Product was interpolated from displacement values of persistent scatterer points detected by PSI technique from stack of archived satellite SAR images. Displacement values were derived from time series based on analysis of Sentinel-1 imagery acquired during 2017. It is accompanied by administrative boundaries to provide a geographical context. The estimated thematic accuracy of this product is 80% or better for results derived from Sentinel-1, as it is based on cross-validation with results from independent Sentinel-1 satellite track. A wider area than the Area Of Interest provided has been analyzed. Results are available in the EMSN-057 GeoDataBase. 1:15,000 Grid: WGS 1984 Zone 48N map coordinate system Tick marks: WGS 84 geographical coordinate system ± 0 0.35 0.7 0.175 Kilometers The products elaborated in the framework of current mapping in Risk and Recovery mode activation are realized to the best of our ability, optimising the available data and information.
