DEFINITION- This plaster is a textured plaster done in two layers in panels with grooves as per pattern with different type of stone chipping 10 mm. nominal size. Min thickness is 30mm.

COMPOSITION – ( 1 cement : 0.5 coarse sand : 2 stone chipping (10 MM nominal size. )

Stones- Dholpur & Kotastone.

TYPES OF GRIT PLASTER- Depend upon types of stone chips.

PROPERTIES-

MOISTURE RESISTANCE - High DURABILITY - High durability TERMITE RESISTANT - Good ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS- Good FINISHING RESULTS - Good

APPLICATIONS-

PROCEDURE OF APPLICATION-

1st LAYER- 12 mm cement plaster in 1: 4 Ratio.

2nd LAYER- 1:0.5: 2 ( 1 cement : 0.5 coarse sand : 2 stone chipping

(10 MM nominal size. ) Stones- Dholpur & Kotastone.

USES-

ARCHITECTURAL- Exterior finish of buildings.Residential, Commercial building,Intuitional buildings

NON-ARCHITECTURAL-Landscape Elements

Like feature wall boundary wall,

Pathways. BEST SUITED FOR- Public Buildings.

ADVANTAGES- Requires Low maintenance. acoustical absorption

DISADVANTAGES- It cant be use in interior because of texture finish.

DEFINITION- Brickwork is masonry produced by a bricklayer, using bricks tile and mortar. Typically, rows of bricks in courses are laid one on top of another.

PATTERN IN BRICK TILE – English bond, Flemish Bond , other Patterns.
