Towns and villages come alive as people recall the simplest of
things that gave their hometown a special atmosphere.
It is important to collect memories from the past to preserve
history for future generations.

Students of Slinger area today involved in racing motor cross,
go-karts , cars or snowmobiles connected to racers of the past. Al
Kulwicki, a former National Slinger Speedway race car driver
started his career in go-kart racing. Rob Reiser, a former Slinger
area resident, who achieved national fame as a driver, is another
positive role model for future racers.
Former SHS Athletes continue to compete locally, nationally and
worldwide in World Cup Games illustrating positive role models for

Musicians of the past continue to give back to the community by
becoming involved in teaching and promoting music or by being
involved in community groups such as SAMBA or Jazz Fest.
Local artists share their passion with students by teaching them
their art form. Generations are connected and imaginations explore
a new way of looking at the world.
Community members participate in the project by sharing
