With the Junior Class coming in 1st place in the High School food drive competition, the entire High School blew their goal out of the water collecting a total of 1356 items and $278 in donations.
With ghosts, goblins and
maybe a superhero or two
present, the Gruver
Elementary Gym was packed
full of laughter, candy and
confetti eggs! The NJHS
members stationed at game
booths and face-painting
tables, brought smiles to the
members of the Gruver .

2nd Grade Displays Symbols of Texas and the USA
Second Grade has been studying the symbols of Texas and the
United States. To finish up the unit they have completed two
art projects. The American flag was a collaborative art project
with each student coloring one piece of the flag. Second, they
used their thumbprints to make the bluebonnet petals for their
Texas State flower.

WIN in Front of a Sell-Out Crowd
Another impressive week of intense, competitive basketball displayed from our Hounds
and Lady Hounds with more gold ball trophies added to the trophy case! The Hounds
defeated Highland Park Monday evening for the Bi-District Championship while the Lady
Hounds punched their ticket to the regional tournament defeating a tough Wellington
team. The girls are headed to Levelland for the regional tournament this weekend while
the boys face-off with New Deal for the Area playoff game! Game details below for the
Hounds and Lady Hounds!!!
