Donate to the School Supply Drive Okay, maybe some of us
don’t want to think about
school just yet. So let’s think
about helping children whose
families have financial diffi-
culty getting school supplies
together. Stores are begin-

Save the front parking spaces for your guest. If you able

please park closer if you need to.

Tie Dye Night! Thank you to everyone who
came to Tie Dye Fun Night!
The kids and adults had a great
time creating shirts and being
together. We had 20 children
create their own t-shirt
masterpiece and we managed
to keep the community room
from getting a new paint job. It
was lots of fun!
Sports Camp is next week,
don't forget to register!
Sports Camps Volunteer Meeting We will have a meeting for all volunteers for the
Mega Sports Camp on July 19, at 6pm. Please contact
Esther Brown with any questions.
Fire Fighters
Served Treats Last week, the
youth gathered in
the church kitchen
and baked from
scratch chocolate
chip cookies and
brownies for our
local fire fighters at
Station 5. The
brownies baked
perfectly. The
cookies did not rise
but tasted amazing!
Youth ingenuity
snapped into action
and the flat cookies were folded over and became
chocolate chip crepes. On our way to the fire sta-
tion, we picked up Homemade Vanilla ice-cream to
serve with our fortunate transformation of cookies
into crepes. The fire fighters were warm and very
gracious for our youths' service, consideration and
support.
Youth Leadership Sprawling New
Opportunities! The youth ministry is adapting to the changing
needs of our youth group. The youth need adult
volunteers to lead 2 new Sunday School classes and
2 Sunday evening small groups. These groups are
important to the life of the groups and the youth to
learn, share, and experience Christ in their lives.
The commitment to serve can vary from one month
to a couple of months. To serve, please contact
Rev. Adam Straznicky at 817-404-2153.
Six Flags Postponed Due to a very busy July at Greggton, the youth
trip to Six Flags Arlington has been postponed to a
later date. The day will be announced several
weeks in advance to allow for promotion and
household scheduling. We apologize for the incon-
venience.
Sports Camp is coming up and is going to be a fun
week for the kids. We will have 4 sports for your child
to choose from: baseball, basketball, cheerleading and
soccer. Your child will choose one sport to work on dur-
ing the entire week, and will spend time doing drills,
learning new skills and participating in scrimmages with
that sport. Please register your child online at
www.greggton.org and indicate which sport your child
wants to participate in. This will help us in our planning.
Also, if your child has equipment for the indicated sport
(a soccer ball and shin guards for soccer, a basketball, a
baseball and glove) please bring those to camp each
night. We look forward to having your children join us
for Mega Sports Camp!
We need more help for Sports Camp! Many of you
have already signed up but if you haven’t, we could
really use your help. Age is no restriction, as we have a
job for everyone. Here’s what we really need:
1 registration helper
1 basketball coach
Assistant coach for basketball
2 more people to lead a small devotion for a group 6
kids. Materials for devotion will be provided.
Also, if you have any sports equipment ( balls, bats,
soccer goals, etc) that the church could borrow for this
week, we would greatly appreciate it! Please bring them
clearly labeled with your name to the church by Sunday.
