The poly bagging lines at Greenridge Connect allow for mail to be plastic wrapped and sealed as one unit. This means you can combine several elements of one campaign or pieces of communication, into a single piece of mail. We also arrange for the items to be delivered via Australia Post, saving you time, effort and money.

We arrange to have the mail delivered via Australia Post which means no more mad dashes, lugging boxes to the Post Office just before closing time. You can rest assured that your mail will be sorted perfectly and distributed on time and efficiently.

Tired of folding letters, invoice or statements? Our highly intelligent software and machinery ensures we are able to accurately insert, package and process mail. INKS

Greenridge Press uses mainly vegetable based inks instead of petroleum/oil based inks which is better for the environment and better at making your message because:

► Vegetable ink has a much higher melt rate than oil inks, so they can handle high temperatures

► It has great colour vibrancy compared with oil based ink and we need to use less for the same result

► We don’t contaminate the environment through the disposal of oils

PAPER

All paper used by Greenridge Press to produce your work (unless a special paper has been requested) has strong environmental credentials:

► Paper is one of the most renewable resources ever! It is a fully renewable, natural resource – it truly is one of humankinds most ingenious inventions. It is also one of the most recyclable resources!

Spreading the word - we educate our clientS in ecofriendly choiceS & encourage a ‘green MeSSage’ on your next piece of print work, Such aS ‘thiS iS an environMentally reSponSible printed product!’

► What happens to old paper? Often it lives on! Paper can usually be recycled up to six times before its fibrous quality becomes unsuitable for reuse as paper. It is then usually either put through a waste management process or reused in a number of other ways (such as the bulking material put inside many modern office desks). Don’t forget that paper is a natural product and is therefore biodegradable.

► All papers chosen by Greenridge Press will only contain fibres from sustainable forests and may carry the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification (a certification supported by World Wildlife Fund, Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth).

► Our major paper suppliers hold FSC certification, so all of your paper from Greenridge Press has strong environmental credentials.

► pressroom chemicals – All heavy chemicals with Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) content are now eliminated.

► presses – Our presses are now 60% more energy efficient.

► plates – Printing Plates transfer images to the paper on a printing press. We use computer to plate systems, which have eliminated toxic chemicals and bi-cromates in film based platemaking.

► proofs – We give the option to receive an eProof, rather than a hardcopy!

► less water – We harvest the water we do use on site and put a mere 20 litres into our machines each day.

► More recycling – We recycle all of our off cuts, rags and metal plates and send larger pieces of material to schools to use in their educational programs.

► Spreading the word – We educate our clients in eco-friendly choices & encourage a ‘Green Message’ on your next piece of print work.
