Green Practices Description Impact
Composting All biodegradable wastes that were being collected from the Preparation area such as spoilage, leaves and fruits trimmings, etc. are decomposed in the composting facility to be used as fertilizer for the plants near the area.

Construction of a simple waste water treatment facility using filtration method
To reduce COD and BOD of waste water before discharge to water system
Water is treated before discharge to environment.
Construction of Wet Scrubber Facility – Twin Cyclone
A wet scrubber is acquired by the company in September 2009. Its main objective is to contain all solid and odor particulates from shrimp production.
Minimize odor of shrimp production to neighboring residential areas.
Participation in Green Philippines Islands of Sustainability
Energy savings program was implemented to be resource efficient.
Reduction of wastes, improvement of boiler and dryers, energy and environmental issues were addressed.
