Considered contaminants when in excess of Pollution is the introduction by man into the environment of contaminants that cause harm or discomfort to humans or other living organisms, or damage the environment.
Pollution can be in the form of chemical substances, or energy such as noise, heat, or light. Pollutants can be naturally occurring substances or energies, but are natural levels. Pollution is often categorized into point source and no point source pollution

Different Types of Pollution• Air pollution is a mixture of solid particles and gases in the
air. Car emissions, chemicals from factories, dust, pollen and mold spores may be suspended as particles. Ozone, a gas, is a major part of air pollution in cities. When ozone forms air pollution, it's also called smog.
• Water pollution is a large set of adverse effects upon water bodies such as lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater caused by human activities.
• Land pollution is the degradation of earth's land surfaces often caused by human activities and its misuse. Haphazard disposal of urban and industrial wastes, exploitation of minerals, and improper use of soil by inadequate agricultural practices are a few of the contributing factors.[1] Also, increasing urbanization, industrialization and other demands on the environment and its resources is of great consequence to many countries

about the atmosphere and the ways in which it is Polluted.

Bad effects of air pollution The bad effects of air
pollution affect many people from all walks of life. At the most risk are young children and the elderly. Those that have compromised immune systems, chronic illness or an unhealthy lifestyle are also at a higher risk level. However, it is important to note that poor air quality affects everyone even if you are completely fit in every other way.
Short & Long Term Effects• Short term effects: If you enter a city that has a
heavy haze of smog over it, chances are good you will start to feel some change in your body. You may experience irritations to the eyes, to your throat and your nose. In addition, if that exposure lasts for more than a few minutes, you may have upper respiratory infections that lead to illnesses such as pneumonia. Increased exposure can also head to frequent headaches and allergic reactions in some people.
Long term bad effects: For these situations,
individuals have been exposed to air pollution over a number of days, weeks or months, or longer. Long term effects including lung cancer, heart disease, chronic respiratory problems including asthma and breathing difficulties. In some cases, there is even damage to the brain, kidneys, liver and other parts of your body.
Worst of all facts
Perhaps the worst of all facts about the bad effects of air pollution is the sad reality that each year, more than 500,000 people die prematurely in the United States because of their repeated exposure to air pollution. By simply improving the quality of air and reducing the bad effects of air pollution, people can live longer lives, often of better quality, too. The risks are heavy and they affect virtually everyone.
Some realistic solutions to reduce air pollutions :-Plant more trees-Use more public transport-Use recycle bag-Recycle garbage-Abandon diesel driven vehicles-Filter exhaust gas-Reduce no. of planes landing and taking off-Prevent hill fires
Solutions to reduce air pollutions (In door):-Set indoor air-con temp. at about 25.5
degrees-Plant little plants indoor-Stop smoking indoor-Don’t use pesticides, insect spray
In general:- Reduce deforestation- Try to minimize war- Educate the population on how to
reduce air pollution- Minimize the combustion of fossil fuels

The contamination of water with undesirable substances which make it unfit for usage is termed water Pollution.
Causes of Water Pollution• About 40% of Deaths worldwide are caused by
Water Pollution.• Water Pollution is Caused by organsic and
inorganic industrial wastes and affluents discharged into rivers.
• Noise also causes anxiety stress reacation and fright.
Effects of Water Pollution• Diseases like Cholera• Malaria• Typhoid (spread during the rainy season )• Aquatic life gets destroyed
How to Avoid Water Pollution• Rivers should not be used for washing
clothes or bathing animals in.• Harvesting of Rainwater to meet water
requirements.• Dams &embankments must be created.• The rivers must not be contaminated.• In sacred river like Ganga the dead bodies
shouldn’t thrown.
NOISELESS ATMOSPHERE Noise can be simply defined as unwanted sound. The sound is pleasant or not depends upon its
loudness,duration,rhythm and the mood of the person.
Noise pollution not only results in irritation and anger.
