Ultra Glam: EASY SMOKEY EYES

You will need......Glowing base

To make sure the skin looks radiant and natural we used a glowing primer followed up with a higher coverage foundation

Products used:Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector- OpalChanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation

Radiant Cheeks

Soft, Fuller Eyebrows

For that bronze glow, use a warm-tone bronzer and a radiant pink blush

Products used:Dior SkinNude bronzer- 03The Body Shop All-In-One Cheek Colour- 03Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector pressed- Moonstone

Soften up the look with a fuller,not overly defined eyebrow shape.

We used:NYX Micro Eyebrow Pencil

How to do it.

1 Using your fingers apply your primer all over the skin and then using a buffing brush, even out the skin tone

with your foundation of choice. If necessary conceal your blemishes and dark circles with some concealer and set it with powder.

2 Warm up the skin and add some more glow to the cheeks with an orangey bronzer and dust it over the

cheeks and outer parts of the face. If you’d like some more definition, contour the cheeks with a cool toned bronzer or contour powder. Add a light pink blush to the apples of the cheeks

3 Using light, feathery strokes, fill in the brows using either a pencil or powder product. Make sure you keep brushing

out the strokes to achieve the most natural look. Don’t be afraid to make the brows a bit thicker, it will make the whole look tie in together. Set them in place with a bit of brow gel of choice.

4 Place a darker base all over the eyelid and blend out towards the crease of the eye. This will provide a more intense base for any colour you put on top of it.

This does not need to be perfect as you’ll be applying the eyeshadows on top.

5 Using a bronzer and a fluffy crease brush, apply the bronzer into the socket of the eye. This step will make all the colour blend a lot better. Afterwards wet

your brush with a bit of water to intensify the eyeshadow and use your jewel-tone coloured eyeshadow of choice everywhere you applied the base.

6 Using a darker matte brown eyeshadow, apply it with a small pencil brush into the outer corners of the crease and lower lash line, blend out the edges.

7 If you’d like, apply some liquid eyeliner to intensify the look. If not, curl your lashes and apply a few coats of mascara before you put on your false eyelashes.

Don’t forget to coat the lower lashes with some mascara as well.

8 To intensify the glow in the skin, add a swipe of pearly, shimmering highlighter across the cheekbones. If you prefer a more natural or matte

look feel free to skip this step.

9 Finally, use your favourite nude lip-stick. It can be tricky finding the pre-fect nude tone for your skintone. Try testing out different shades to see if

you prefer a more pink or brown undertone and preferred formulation.

“ How to apply eyeliner like a pro! Simple and Quick

Are you still frustrated because you can’t seem to master or simply get winged eyeliner done right? Adriana Braje made a complete tutorial with liquid eyeliner to help you learn and master it!

Pencil eyeliner is, by far, the easiest to apply and also the simplest to correct when a mistake is made. Pencil liners can create a basic soft-looking line, but they won’t spread nearly as smoothly as gel or liquid liners. They should also be slightly warmed up before application, either by holding them on the palm of your hands, or by using a hair dryer on its lowest setting for a few seconds.

Occasionally, pencil liner can wear off or transfer to the eyelid, but the best ones will stay put for most of the day. Gel/cream liners tend to be matte and glide on as easily as pencil liners. The main advantage of gel liners is that they allow you to create an intense line without it necessarily being as harsh as those made with liquid liners, to the point that you can even smudge it out to soften them up.

Liquid liners tend to be preferred for their precision, but they can take a while to fully dry after applying. Liquid liner is the most popular choice for creating winged cat eyes. Once it dries, liquid liner has a long-lasting effect and won’t either fade nor smudge, though it can look slightly harsher than others.

It requires a steady hand and can prove to be difficult to apply at first. Additionally, any mistakes you may do with it are far harder to correct. Learning how to master liquid liners requires patience and time, but a trick for it could be to apply a base of pencil liner first so you can use it as a guide when applying the liquid liner.

The FinalWord.What is the right age tostart wearing make-up?

Now, that’s a loaded question. There’s a lot wrapped up in the concept of young girls wearing makeup — from sexualization to self-expression.

I guess there are no set rules, and many of us are conflicted as to what, in the end, is a deeply personal experience for both child and parent.

Girls are naturally going to have an urge to emulate their mothers and wearing make-up is one of the many rights of passage children go through.

In the home of course this doesn’t matter at all but when the child is out and in the general public - it does become an issue.

It would be a shame to inhibit your daughters due to a fear of comments from others, and worse still the danger of predator. Whilst it will always be your choice and prerogative as to what age is right to make this decision, just remember that a childhood soon passes and our little ones grow up extremely quickly. If we can preserve their childhood and innocence as long as possible is there any harm in that?
