Great Goals Soccer U - 6

A typical day at Great GoalsU-6 players

With the under 6 group, our focus is on getting them moving, building hand-eye-foot co-ordination and learning the basics of using your feet. They also play a hand-version of football (handball), so they get a sense of the game.

Warm up starts with some running – here they line up for a jog around the field with the coaches

Followed by stretches

Then start the drills….

Drill:Running with the ball around cones

Drill changes… running with two balls around the cones

Drill: Learning to dribble with the feet

And then the game begins….

GOAL!!!!!

A tired but happy bunch!
